Job summary

LGH Hotels Management is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the Holiday Inn Cambridge kitchen team. You will work with the Head Chef to ensure consistently high‑quality food, lead the team during service and uphold safety and presentation standards.

In this role you will maintain calm and structure in fast‑paced service, support menu delivery, and assist in cost control and standard recipes to drive excellence across the LGH hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie.
• Able to lead a team in a busy kitchen and maintain high standards.
• Solid understanding of food safety and HACCP practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef in day‑to‑day kitchen operations.
• Take responsibility for kitchen in Head Chef's absence.
• Oversee food prep to ensure high standard of dishes.
• Implement standard recipes and monitor food costs.
• Lead, guide and support kitchen team during service.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed.
