Holiday Inn Cambridge is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistently high-quality food across the hotel and support menu delivery, quality, and presentation. The role requires leadership in the absence of the Head Chef and a calm, organised kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or senior chef de partie.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on food quality, presentation and consistency.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Take responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Oversee food preparation to ensure high standards.
• Follow standard recipes and manage food cost control.
• Lead, guide and support the kitchen team during service.
• Ensure all safety and hygiene standards are followed.
