Job summary

Get Golfing CIO, a charity that supports English golf facilities, is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Hook, England. You will report to the Head Chef and help deliver high-quality dishes for our members and visitors.

The role requires at least 3 years in a busy kitchen, leadership and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. We offer competitive pay (£15/hour), pension, training, and staff perks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Experience as Sous Chef or similar preferred.
• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Strong leadership, time management and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in menu development and implementation.
• Prepare, cook and plate dishes to high standards.
• Oversee kitchen during Head Chef's absence to maintain quality and speed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Minimize waste and manage inventory and portions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Expand culinary knowledge to introduce new items.
