Job summary

The Merlin at Wilmslow is recruiting a passionate Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen and deliver consistently high standards across our branded menu.

You will train and inspire the kitchen team, manage food ordering and stock control, and step up to lead in the Head Chef's absence while upholding health and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef in a branded restaurant environment.
• Proven leadership of kitchen staff and ability to train others.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Run a kitchen section and ensure team works cohesively as one unit.
• Support Head Chef with ordering and stock control to minimise waste.
• Maintain menu standards across all branded offerings.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and drive consistent quality.
