Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a Sous Chef at Ferry pubs, passionate about great food and leading a team to deliver high standards.

You will run a section, train your team, manage ordering and stock, and ensure health and hygiene compliance while supporting the Head Chef.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen role.
• Ability to train and inspire the team to deliver high-quality food.
• Experience with food ordering and stock control under a branded menu.
• Ensure health and hygiene regulations are met.
• Strong leadership and target-focused mindset.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
