Job summary

The Plough, part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC, is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train great people and ensure guests enjoy excellent food. You’ll step up in the Head Chef’s absence and run the team in harmony with your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team.
• Ability to train and inspire staff to deliver high-quality food.
• Experience with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ability to manage chefs and the wider kitchen team.
• Compliance with health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef at the Plough , you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces. You'll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
