Job summary

The Luxury Hotel is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen and work with fresh seasonal ingredients for the restaurant and events. You will help prepare meals for the restaurant, afternoon teas and bar, and support the Head Chef by guiding junior chefs.

This 4-on/3-off role offers a ladder to career development within a high-end venue, with a salary up to £36,000 plus service, meals and staff benefits included.

Qualifications

Experience as a Sous Chef in a busy kitchen with fresh produce.
Experience of working with fresh food to a high standard.
Capable and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

Preparing meals for the hotel restaurant using seasonal produce.
Running service in Head Chef's absence.
Manage kitchen brigade including health & safety, hygiene.
Encourage and support junior chefs.

Our client is a luxury Hotel who are recruiting a Sous Chef to work in their 2AA rosette level restaurant. You will be working with all fresh seasonal ingredients to produce food for the restaurant and celebrations/functions. You will help prepare meals for the restaurant, afternoon teas and bar. This is an excellent career opportunity to work in a high end venue. The Head Chef is looking for a strong team player who can help and encourage junior chefs. The role working over 4 days with 3 days off eaxch week.
