Job summary

Longbridge Mill, part of Mitchells & Butlers, is seeking a passionate Sous Chef for the Vintage Inns collection. You will lead a kitchen section, train your team, and step up in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring prime service with a branded menu.

Join us at a charming rural pub; you’ll manage food ordering, stock, and hygiene, while inspiring staff to deliver meals guests love and feel welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef or senior chef with leadership experience.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.
• Experience with branded menus and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
