Job summary

Everyman Esher is seeking a Sous Chef to uphold the high standards and support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. You will contribute to the premium hospitality experiences the venue is known for, while developing your career within a fast-growing company.

The successful candidate will lead by example, mentor team members, and ensure food quality and consistency across all service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential.
• Branded operation experience is desirable.
• Strong team collaboration and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets high standards.
• Support Head Chef to run the kitchen smoothly for guest experience.
• Deputise for Head Chef when required.
• Deliver training to the kitchen team.
• Conduct stocktaking.

The Day-to-Day Script

As Sous Chef, you will perform an important role within the management team, with responsibilities including:

• Ensuring that each and every item that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standards.
• Supporting the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen, doing everything you can to make sure our guests have the best possible experience whilst in our venue.
• Deputising for the Head Chef as and when required.
• Delivering training to the rest of the kitchen team joining our Everyman family.
• Stocktaking.
