Job summary

Everyman Wokingham is seeking a Sous Chef to help deliver the premium hospitality Everyman is known for, with responsibilities in maintaining high standards in the kitchen.

You'll support the Head Chef, deputise when required, train the team, and manage stock, all while delivering great guest experiences in a fast-paced, branded environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential.
• Experience in fast-paced, branded operation is desirable.
• Strong personality and teamwork for guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every item leaving the kitchen meets the highest standards.
• Support the Head Chef in smooth kitchen operations to deliver the best guest experience.
• Deputise for the Head Chef as required.
• Deliver training to the kitchen team joining the Everyman family.

The Day-to-Day Script

As Sous Chef, you will perform an important role within the management team, with responsibilities including:

• Ensuring that each and every item that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standards.
• Supporting the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen, doing everything you can to make sure our guests have the best possible experience whilst in our venue.
• Deputising for the Head Chef as and when required.
• Delivering training to the rest of the kitchen team joining our Everyman family.
• Stocktaking.
