Job summary

Fox & Raven in Chelmsford is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train a team and ensure guests leave smiling.

You will support the Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control, and you’ll work with a branded menu while upholding health and hygiene standards. This role also offers progression opportunities and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef or kitchen supervisor preferred.
• Strong leadership and training skills.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
