Job summary

The March Hare, part of Vintage Inns, is seeking a passionate Sous Chef who loves great food, training people and making guests smile. You’ll run a section, lead your team, and step in for Head Chef when needed.

You’ll work in a cozy pub environment with flexible shifts, brand discounts, and opportunities for paid qualifications. You’ll help with ordering, prep and stock, and contribute to consistently delivering memorable dishes.

Qualifications

• Experience as sous chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to train and develop a kitchen team.
• Strong stock control and food ordering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead your section and ensure the team works as one.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Master a branded menu and maintain consistency.
• Manage Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef atthe March Hare, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
