Mitchells & Butler s plc is seeking a Sous Chef for the March Hare, part of Vintage Inns. You’ll lead a kitchen section, train your team and step up in the Head Chef’s absence. The role focuses on delivering great food and a welcoming guest experience.

You’ll be part of a pub group renowned for a warm, traditional atmosphere and rural setting. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for progression and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and deliver high-quality dishes.
• Experience training and mentoring kitchen staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Experience managing food orders and stock control.

Responsabilités

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef atthe March Hare, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
