Job summary

The Crow & Gate at Vintage Inns, part of Mitchells & Butlers plc, is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train staff and step in for the Head Chef when needed. You’ll contribute to a warm, busy kitchen and help deliver great food.

You’ll focus on team leadership, food ordering, stock control, and working with a branded menu while upholding health and hygiene standards. Benefits include staff discounts and development opportunities.

• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef at the Crow & Gate, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces. You’ll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
