Job summary

Calverley Arms in the Vintage Inns collection seeks a proactive Sous Chef who loves great food, developing people and delivering guest satisfaction. You’ll run a kitchen section, lead your team and step in for the Head Chef when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy pub or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to train and develop kitchen staff to deliver quality dishes.

Responsibilities

• Smash targets with your team and maintain high standards.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food you’re proud of.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Work with a branded menu and manage Chefs and kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef atthe Calverley Arms, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces. You’ll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
