Job summary

The Flying Horse is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train a strong team and ensure guests receive exceptional food. You’ll step up in the Head Chef’s absence and drive results every service.

As part of Premium Country Pubs and Mitchells & Butler’s group, you’ll manage food ordering, prep and stock, uphold brand standards and health & hygiene. You’ll inspire your team to take pride in every plate.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Ability to train and lead a kitchen team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead your kitchen section and ensure team cohesion during service.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations and brand standards.
