Job summary

Pesto Dicconson Arms is seeking a Sous Chef who is passionate about great food, training strong teams and delivering smiles to guests. You’ll run a section, lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and help create dishes that reflect authentic Italian piattini inspired menus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen section and stepping up in the Head Chef's absence.
• Ability to train and inspire kitchen staff to deliver quality dishes.
• Strong knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead your kitchen section and ensure the team works together as one.
• Train and develop junior chefs and continuously improve service.
• Assist Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Maintain adherence to branded menu standards and consistency across dishes.
• Manage Chefs and the wider kitchen team with confidence.
• Oversee health and hygiene compliance in the kitchen.
