About Us

About The Position

We are currently recruiting casual Youth Workers who are committed to improving and supporting the daily lives of young people in our care.

About You

  • Flexible, tolerant, patient, organised, reliable, and punctual.
  • Able to act with integrity in stressful situations.
  • Committed to young people and understanding the factors affecting their lives.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
  • Willing to travel to regional locations.
  • Desire to collaborate with clients for the best outcomes.

Responsibilities Include

  • Empowering young people to make positive and informed life choices.
  • Assisting with daily routines, domestic tasks, shopping, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Administering medication and implementing behaviour support plans.
  • Writing detailed and accurate daily shift notes.
  • Following organisational policies, including Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Becoming a valued member of the WorkPac team for our clients.

What You Will Require

  • Full NSW Driver's Licence and a car.
  • Comprehensive or Third Party car insurance.
  • Current Working with Children's Check.
  • At least 6 months of recent paid experience as a Youth Support Worker in a residential setting.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Minimum Cert IV in Youth Support or Diploma of Community Services.
  • Evidence of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Current availability to work.
