Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools, nurseries and Early Years settings in Somerset. You will support learning through classroom and play-based activities, helping children develop communication, confidence, social skills and independence.

The role requires a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and experience with SEN is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Early Years settings is required.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is required.
• Experience supporting children with SEN is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support children with learning, play and creative activities.
• Encourage communication, language development and early learning skills.
• Support social interaction, confidence and independence.
• Provide additional support to children with SEN as needed.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support development.
