Job summary

ChapsVision is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our hybrid technical and client-facing team in York. You will architect, customize, and deploy Sinequa’s enterprise AI search platform for complex customer environments, contributing as a senior technical lead depending on experience.

You will design secure, scalable search solutions, build data pipelines and integrations, and guide clients through the implementation process while delivering ongoing enablement and support to ensure long-term

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, professional services, or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, or similar).
• 1+ year of frontend experience using Angular, TypeScript, or React.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and customize secure, scalable search solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Build and configure data ingestion pipelines, APIs, and backend integrations.
• Implement AI-powered assistants, RAG workflows, and prompt engineering strategies.
• Customize and extend the search platform UX and UI based on customer needs.
