You’ll own opportunities from enquiry to delivery, liaising with customers and internal teams to develop solutions, prepare quotations and secure profitable business in line with customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, engineering sales, estimating, applications engineering or a similar technical-commercial role.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and product information.
• Experience preparing quotations, costing jobs and understanding profit margins.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a technical point of contact for customers, advising on products, specifications and suitable solutions.
• Reviewing customer enquiries and translating technical requirements into accurate quotations and proposals.
• Interpreting technical drawings, specifications and product information to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
• Calculating job costs, preparing profitability forecasts and ensuring margins are achieved.
• Proactively following up leads, quotations and existing opportunities to convert enquiries into orders.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow revenue.
• Conducting customer visits, site assessments, product demonstrations and technical briefings where required.
• Preparing accurate technical information and ensuring a smooth handover to the operations team.
• Monitoring sales activity, maintaining pipeline information and supporting reporting and marketing activities.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with customer expectations.
