Barracuda Networks is seeking a Solutions Architect II in the UK to provide presales support, lead workshops, and shape high-level security solutions for customers. The role involves validating requirements, delivering product demonstrations, and coordinating with sales to close opportunities.

The candidate should have 5+ years in IT sales/consulting, strong English, and a degree in sales or business administration with deep security domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales operation, consulting, sales engineering or equivalent in IT, preferably SMB/mid-markets.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in sales, business administration or equivalent experience.
• Ability to close business while achieving high customer satisfaction.
• Understanding of security across six threat vectors (email, remote users, networks, applications).

Responsibilities

• Provide presales support to Barracuda’s customers, run workshops, validate requirements, answer advanced technical questions and deliver product demonstrations.
• Manage POV/POC process and collaborate with sales teams on opportunities.
• Gather client requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, shape high-level client solutions.
• Lead technical engagements: briefings, proofs of concepts, architectural design sessions.
• Deliver workshops, bootcamps and trainings to build partners’ technical skills.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and coordinate with internal resources to close opportunities.
• Conduct security assessments and recommend remediation solutions.
• Ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales and advise on network security design.
