Job summary

Barracuda Networks is seeking a Solutions Architect II to provide presales support, run workshops, validate requirements, and deliver product demonstrations. You will manage POV/POC processes and collaborate with sales to advance opportunities, ensuring solutions align with Barracuda’s security portfolio.

The role involves security architecture sessions, customer engagements, and guiding customers from pre-sales through post-sales while working with cross-functional teams to close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in sales, business administration or equivalent experience.
• 5+ year of experience in sales operation, consulting, sales engineering or equivalent in the IT industry, preferably in SMB/mid-markets.
• Excellent English language both written and verbal.
• Understanding of Security across six threat vectors, email, users, remote users, networks, applications with a demonstrated passion and understanding of the Email and Security markets.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, while changing and realigning priorities.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to close business while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Gathers client requirements, performs fit-gap analysis and shapes high level client solutions based on Barracuda’s products.
• Manages technical engagements, such as briefings, proofs of concepts and architectural design sessions.
• Delivers workshops, bootcamps, and trainings to build partners’ technical skills.
• Delivers product demonstrations and presentations to showcase network security features and benefits.
• Qualifies opportunities, validates requirements, and provides product recommendations to meet customer needs.
• Answers technical questions, overcomes objections, and helps sales position against competitors.
• Responds to RFI’s and RFPs and engages internal resources to help close opportunities.
• Conducts security assessments and audits of client networks to identify vulnerabilities and remedies.
• Collaborates with sales to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales with network security design guidance.
• Leverages sales engineering knowledge across projects and channels to meet team goals.
