Job summary
Cloudflare is seeking an Argo Systems Engineer to own critical network software infrastructure powering multiple Cloudflare products.
You will collaborate with Engineering, Network Engineering and SRE to translate requirements into platform capabilities, design and deploy scalable solutions, and ensure reliable, secure operations across the edge network. Proficiency in Rust and Go is required, with knowledge of HTTP/TLS and CDN networking.
Qualifications
- Experience building secure and highly available distributed systems.
- Systems-level programming experience in Rust, Go, C, or C++.
- Knowledge of HTTP, TLS, and CDN networks.
- Experience in network performance monitoring and tuning.
- Experience participating in an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Own design, development, testing, and deployment of network software infrastructure in Argo.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Network Engineering and SRE to maximize edge network performance.
- Translate requirements into platform capabilities and deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain tools for monitoring, debugging, and alerting large distributed systems.
