Job summary

Cloudflare’s Engineering team builds the software platform that serves 115 million HTTP requests per second on average. You’ll work with a team of engineers to create new features to increase availability, safety and reliability of the edge ecosystem.

The platform is mainly in Rust and Golang; you will help maintain the world’s largest web server and collaborate across product and engineering teams to push the boundaries of performance and security.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance engineering.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Rust and Go.
• Knowledge of web servers and web protocols.
• Focus on reliability, safety and efficiency.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and drive consensus.
• Desire to learn and tackle new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve features of the main Cloudflare web server.
