Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a skilled engineer for the Egress team to own and evolve egress connectivity across its network. You will design and implement capabilities used by products like WARP, Zero Trust, and iCloud Private Relay, collaborating with multiple engineering groups and SRE to optimize performance on Cloudflare’s edge network.

You will develop across Rust and Go, work with Linux networking, databases, and monitoring tools, and participate in all stages from design to production

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and network software.
• Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills in large-scale infra.
• Familiarity with HTTP, TLS, CDN networks and OSI Layers 3/4.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable networking components across the Cloudflare platform.
• Write code, specs, and tests; plan and roll out production releases.
• Be on-call to maintain uptime and triage production issues.
