P. Ducker Systems Ltd in Greater London is seeking a proactive Linux Systems Engineer to join a close-knit team focused on secure, high-quality OS development. You will work on Linux distributions, enhance security, and tailor components to meet customer needs.

The role requires C programming, Bash scripting, Ubuntu, Debian packaging, and strong TCP/IP knowledge; prior kernel/Open Source work is a plus. You will help deliver robust, scalable solutions for global clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ubuntu operating system and Debian-based packaging.
• Proficient in C programming and Bash scripting.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security components.
• Experience with PKI certificate and key management.
• OOP in C++ and kernel-related development is a plus.
• Desirable openness to Python programming and Open Source work.
