Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Linux Engineer / DevOps (Azure) in London with WFH options to £100k. You will contribute to architectural decisions, automate infrastructure, CI/CD, and improve platforms and tooling across Azure-based environments.

Hybrid work with in-office collaboration twice weekly, plus a strong emphasis on automation and scalable, high-load systems. The role requires Linux expertise, scripting in Python or Bash, and a collaborative mindset to drive cloud-first solutions with AI

Qualifications

• Expertise with Linux OS, including system administration and kernel knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash) and automation focus.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, high-load systems.
• Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, Azure preferred.
• Familiar with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation.
• Comfortable with AI tools.
• Collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills.

Linux Engineer / DevOps (Azure) London / WFH to £100k

As a Linux Engineer you'll contribute to architectural decisions, infrastructure automation, CI/CD and platform improvements. You'll have the autonomy to solve complex technical challenges, introduce new ideas and continually improve the tooling, processes and cloud services (Azure) that enable engineering teams to deliver quickly and confidently.

About you:

• You have expertise with Linux OS including Systems Engineering / Administration experience, Linux Kernel
• You have strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• You have scripting experience (Python, bash) and believe in automation
• You have experience of designing and implementing scalable systems capable of handling high loads
• You have a good knowledge of cloud based infrastructure, Azure preferred
• You're familiar with infrastructure provisioning tools e.g. IaC, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, AWS CloudFormation
• You're comfortable with AI tools
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills
