Job summary

Leonardo is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer in London for hybrid working (office/remote). You will work at the intersection of Linux internals, networking and security to build secure endpoint solutions for high‑profile clients.

You will develop and maintain Linux-based operating systems, focus on security, configure components, and deliver high‑quality products while meeting strict customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux-based operating systems and security-focused distros.
• Proficiency in C programming and bash scripting.
• Familiarity with PKI and certificate management; OpenSSL knowledge is a plus.

You will work at the intersection of Linux internals, networking and security, building solutions for high-profile clients. The work you do will contribute to endpoint technologies that will set the direction for the next decade - just as today’s established solutions set the standard a decade ago.
