Job summary

Hargreaves Lansdown PLC is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Investment Growth squad in Bristol. You will build AWS cloud-native applications using TypeScript and React, manage infrastructure as code, and contribute to high-quality digital client journeys.

You’ll write secure, well-tested code, participate in automated testing, and mentor peers while advancing CI/CD and security practices within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with TypeScript, React and Node, and with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) and related technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, serverless).
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and with CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital client journeys.
• Develop AWS Cloud-native applications with TypeScript and React and manage them using IaC.
• Write high-quality, secure, tested and performant code; create and maintain automated tests.
