Job summary

Hargreaves Lansdown group is seeking talented Software Engineers to join one of our Investment Growth product engineering teams. You will build market-leading digital client journeys, focusing on cloud-native solutions with TypeScript, React and Node, managed via Terraform and other IaC tools.

You will contribute to secure, tested code, automated testing, and documentation, while coaching peers and advocating for continuous improvement in quality, security, performance and CI/CD within an Agile

Qualifications

Experience with TypeScript, React and Node for building cloud-native applications.
Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with unit, integration and E2E testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
Knowledge of CI/CD and trunk-based development practices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital client journeys.
Develop AWS Cloud-native apps with TypeScript and React; manage using IaC.
Write secure, tested, high-quality code.
Create and maintain automated tests for changes.
Document solutions per team standards.
Provide engineering support and maintenance for existing apps.
Coach and mentor peers; promote continuous improvement in quality, security, and CI/CD.
