Hargreaves Lansdown PLC is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead an Investment Growth product engineering team. You will drive technical delivery, growth of engineers, and build market-leading solutions for clients in Bristol.

The role requires strong leadership, product collaboration and a focus on architecture and nonfunctional requirements. The role offers hybrid working with up to 3 days remote and 2 days in the Bristol office, and a comprehensive benefits package including

• Strong technology leadership in complex organisations.
• Set guard rails around scope, technology, quality, nonfunctional requirements, and best practices, then empower your team to find the best solution within these guard rails
• Product and client value driven environment with Product Managers and business stakeholders
• Full-stack engineering best practices, including CICD and observability
• Partner to multiple business areas to deliver on key priorities with a one-team mindset

• Communicate complex architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders
