Job summary

Virtual Hire Staffing seeks a Software Engineer – Full-Stack (React) for Bristol. The role is hybrid and permanent, contributing to end-to-end investment journeys from front-end to back-end services.

You will develop with TypeScript and React, craft REST/GraphQL APIs, and participate in code reviews. Strong emphasis on cloud-native design, AWS testing, and accessible UI is expected.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with TypeScript and React.
• Solid HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• REST and/or GraphQL API experience; cloud-native development and AWS testing frameworks.
• CI/CD awareness; accessibility best practice (WCAG).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve software across web, mobile and backend services.
• Build customer-facing experiences using React (and React Native where relevant).
• Design and consume REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code and take part in code reviews.
• Contribute to cloud-native, distributed systems.
• Develop automated tests as part of the SDLC.
