Job summary

Sudbury-based Sodexo Group is seeking a Soft Services Facilities Manager to lead integrated facilities management on site. You will manage a diverse team across catering, cleaning, security and workplace services, ensuring exceptional service and compliance.

You will own budgets, drive profitability and foster a high-performing culture while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Monday to Friday, full-time role with progression opportunities and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Significant management experience within facilities management or multi-service operation.
• Experience leading multiple soft service lines (catering, cleaning, workplace services).
• Experience in a manufacturing/fast-paced operational environment preferred.
• Strong track record of leading managers, supervisors and operational teams.
• Experience managing client or senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness including budget management, labour control, forecasting and financial performance.
• Experience managing operational performance against KPIs, SLAs, audits and compliance.
• Knowledge of health & safety and operational compliance.
• IOSH qualification and Food Safety Level 3 advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of integrated facilities management services across the site.
• Inspire, develop and support a diverse, high-performing team.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders as main point of contact.
• Drive operational excellence across catering, cleaning, security and workplace services.
• Take ownership of budgets, costs and profitability opportunities.
• Champion health, safety and compliance; ensure standards are met.
• Monitor service performance via audits and KPIs; implement improvements.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business and client partnerships.
• Collaborate with managers for seamless day-to-day operations.
