Job summary

Sodexo in Greater Belfast is seeking a Facilities Coordinator (Assistant General Services Manager) to support delivery of soft services across multiple client sites. The role suits someone with a catering manager background and a track record in facilities management.

You will oversee teams, drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with health and safety, and build strong client relationships. The position offers a full-time permanent contract with a salary of £30,000 per annum and

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management or Soft Services at a supervisory level.
• Experience managing cleaning, catering and/or security operations.
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
• Experience conducting operational audits and maintaining compliance.
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation.
• Experience using CAFM systems.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Experience in healthcare, education or corporate environments.
• Experience with contract management and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of multiple client sites.
• Lead operational teams to deliver outstanding service.
• Manage cleaning, catering, security and other support services.
• Coordinate planned and reactive works with internal teams and contractors.
• Monitor KPIs, audits and compliance standards.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage staffing levels, resource planning and performance.
• Utilize CAFM systems and MS Office for work orders and reporting.
• Support budget management and cost-saving initiatives.
