Job summary

HRC Recruitment are working with a leading organisation to recruit an Assistant General Services Manager for their Renfrew site. You will oversee day-to-day facilities services across the site, including cleaning, security and catering, working with the General Services Manager to coordinate activity.

This permanent role offers daytime hours, a competitive salary of £35,000 and a strong benefits package, with opportunities to develop within Soft FM and facilities management.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or facilities operations, ideally in Soft FM.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Experience with Health & Safety, compliance, customer service and people management.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day management of the site.
• Managing and coordinating cleaning and security teams.
• Supporting subcontractors and suppliers.
• Managing work orders and service schedules.
• Supporting Health & Safety and compliance.
• Liaising with the client and dealing with issues.
• Supporting budgets, purchasing and monthly reporting.
• Assisting with payroll and people administration.
• Supporting recruitment, training and development.
• Deputising for the General Services Manager when required.
