Job summary

AmplifiED Schools Marketing, based in Teddington, is seeking a Social Media Assistant to join a creative team and support schools across Greater London and the South East. The role involves content creation, posting, and brand-aligned storytelling.

You’ll travel to schools to capture content and collaborate with Partnerships Managers. The position is full-time with a 35-hour week and offers training opportunities, a health plan, and a positive, mission-driven culture focused on meaningful work

We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant with a flair for content creation, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for education and community. This is your chance to kickstart your marketing career with a creative, mission-driven team that’s making a real impact.

What you'll be doing...

You’ll work closely with our team to support schools by:

• Managing the daily posting of content for our partner schools.
• Copyediting and photoediting content shared from schools to ensure brand consistency and correct spelling and grammar.
• Monitoring channels daily for safeguarding and engagement.
• Sharing content to stories, ensuring profiles are updated and current
• Using Canva to create reels and visually engaging posts using school’s content and branding.
• Supporting schools to produce termly or half-termly newsletters via their newsletter platforms. Collating and organising important information.
• Supporting Partnership Managers with client projects where needed.

This is a perfect role for a bright, creative person ready to dive into a fast-paced marketing environment. We’re looking for someone who is:

• A strong communicator, both written and visual
• Social media savvy – you know what works on different platforms
• Creative and proactive – you love coming up with new ideas and seeing them through
• Well-organised with great attention to detail
• Comfortable using Canva (or similar tools), and keen to learn more about digital marketing
• A team player - happy to get stuck into different areas of the business and eager to learn
• Up for travelling to schools across the region to capture content in action
• Eligible to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot sponsor visas)
