Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking a Works Planner to support the Property Safety team in the UK. The role focuses on daily management of the electronic scheduling system, ensuring appointments are kept, and customer care is paramount.

The post is a part-time, hybrid role based in Halifax with a 22 hours 12 minutes per week schedule and a fixed-term contract to 16 August 2027. A Basic Disclosure will apply to successful applicants.

Qualifications

Experience delivering frontline responsive repairs in housing environments.
Strong teamwork experience.
IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and data querying.
Flexible hours to meet priorities.
Knowledge of Section 11 of the Tenant and Landlord Act.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage work within agreed timescales per policy and guidelines.
Identify and prioritise Section 11 repairs and ensure timely execution.
Produce regular monitoring reports across teams, technicians and priorities.
Communicate progress to customers and adapt schedules accordingly.
Reschedule jobs due to absences, overruns, or material delays; inform customers.
Chase outstanding materials and reschedule pending jobs promptly.
Coordinate with Planning/Repairs systems Leader and teams on quality, timeliness and issues.
Liaise with coordinators, technicians and customer care to schedule repairs.
