Job summary

Capability Scotland in Perth, Scotland is seeking an experienced Team Leader to support our Service Manager in Day Centre and Community Outreach teams. Lead care and support to adults with disabilities in day hubs, homes, and communities.

You’ll oversee rota and staff, ensure safety, build care plans, manage medicines and finances, and coordinate with families and professionals while providing regular on-call support across services.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading a team within a social care environment is essential.
• SVQ Level 4 or willingness to gain this qualification in a set timescale.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Rota management and scheduling for care teams.
• Staff management, supervision, recruitment and development.
• Managing activities for supported persons.
• Health and Safety adherence and reporting.
• Creating and checking Care and Support plans.
• Medicines procedures management.
• Financial management for supported individuals.
• Liaising with families, health professionals and social workers.
• Regular on-call support across Upper Springland Services.
