Job summary

Capability Scotland is seeking experienced Support Workers for our Day Centre and Community Outreach services in Perth. The role offers part-time contracts (18 and 30 hours) with a rate of £13.45 per hour and occasional evenings or weekends.

You will support adults with complex disabilities, including personal care and medication assistance, in a vibrant, person-centred environment. Locations include our Perth day centre and outreach in customers’ homes, with opportunities to join theatre

Qualifications

• Past work history in day centres or one-on-one community adult care support.
• Enabling people to achieve daily goals through activities and support.
• Developing person-centred plans and maintaining records, including risk assessments.
• Providing personal care and supporting with medication.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with complex disabilities in day centre and community outreach.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support with medication and health needs as required.
• Plan and participate in social activities and outings.
• Help individuals live independently in their homes and within the community.

Skills

Experience in day centres etc

Driving licence preferred
