Job summary

ENABLE Scotland in Edinburgh & West Lothian is seeking a Team Facilitator to lead and support a team of Personal Assistants, delivering safe, person-centred support. You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure high-quality services across multiple sites.

The role requires leadership, strong organisational skills, and experience in supervising adults with diverse needs. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required to enable travel between services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams of Personal Assistants.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with person-centred planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Personal Assistants.
• Conduct regular supervisions, observations and performance reviews.
• Assist with induction of new staff.
• Support attendance, absence and staff wellbeing.
• Promote effective team communication.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred support.
• Assist staff to promote choice, independence, dignity and inclusion.
• Participate in assessments, support planning, reviews and risk assessments.
• Carry out quality assurance checks, including spot checks and feedback.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and escalated issues.
• Provide direct support and shift cover when required.
• Prepare and maintain staff rotas.
• Keep accurate records using electronic systems.
• Maintain confidential records in line with GDPR.
• Build relationships with families, health professionals and external agencies.
• Attend meetings and reviews with the people we support and key stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with the Service Manager to continuously improve services.
• Participate in the on-call rota (evenings and weekends).
• Travel to services across Edinburgh & West Lothians.
