The Smokefree Advisor role at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust supports the delivery of smokefree interventions across Trust sites, including inpatient and community settings. You will work with the Senior Smokefree Advisor and the Healthy Living team to promote smoking cessation in line with service priorities and patient needs.

Travel between inpatient sites is required, and you will provide 1:1 and group interventions, develop personalised plans, and advise colleagues on

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience delivering smokefree agenda within mental health setting.
• Relevant training and experience in health promotion related to smokefree or healthy living.

Responsabilités

• Support the delivery of smokefree and healthy living interventions across the trust.
• Manage a smokefree caseload and referrals to meet service user needs.
• Provide high quality care with compassion, dignity and respect during all clinical interactions.
• Plan and deliver smokefree interventions 1:1 and in groups.
• Advise colleagues on smokefree and healthy living matters.
• Provide personalised smokefree and healthy living plans for individuals with complex needs.
• Communicate smokefree messages to service users and staff across levels.
• Contribute to development of smokefree/healthy living agenda with partner services.
• Provide interventions to service users relating to smokefree and healthy living.
