Job summary

Change Grow Live invites applications for a Senior Smoke Free Practitioner to join the Smokefree Lancashire service. You will provide advice and information to people who want to quit smoking and line-manage a dedicated team across Accrington and surrounding areas.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent, with ongoing professional development, a contributory pension, and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing line management, supervision and appraisals to staff or volunteers.
• Experience of carrying out assessments and delivering interventions matched to identified needs.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing demands.

Responsibilities

• Promote stop smoking services and benefits.
• Lead a specialist team delivering brief advice and structured programmes.
• Lead on key work-streams and tailor services to target groups.
• Engage with communities to raise awareness and encourage referrals.
• Support the Service Manager to achieve service targets.
• Provide line management, supervision and appraisals to Specialists.
