Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Waterlink Smart Metering Delivery Manager to lead field operations, optimise performance, and drive financial efficiency while upholding safety and regulatory compliance. You will deliver the NHH/HH smart meter replacement programme within time and budget constraints, identify risks, coordinate with scheduling teams and site gangs, and report KPI trends to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O-Level or equivalent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
• Experience managing people in an office and field environment.
• Clean driving licence.
• Proficient IT skills (Word/Google Docs, Excel/Sheets).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in water/utility sectors preferred.
• Site supervision/contractor coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the NHH/HH Smart meter replacement programme on time and budget.
• Identify delivery risks and implement recovery plans.
• Provide delivery updates and KPI trends to leadership.
• Support stakeholders and influence project strategy.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with scheduling and resource planning.
• Lead and develop the team with HR and safety guidelines.
