Job summary

Optimised is seeking a Metering Operations Manager to lead the delivery of metering services across multiple projects in the UK. You will supervise survey and installation work, coordinating resources to ensure on-time, compliant delivery and client satisfaction.

A strong background in metering systems and building services is essential, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will report to the Head of Energy Management and collaborate with governance and admin teams to maintain data-ready

Qualifications

• Experience in sub-metering, energy services or building services is advantageous.
• Electrical installations and metering experience.
• Knowledge of metering protocols such as Modbus, M-Bus and BACnet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational delivery of metering activities across surveys and installations.
• Coordinate multiple projects and resources to meet client requirements and timelines.
• Provide senior operational leadership and manage risk, bottlenecks and escalation paths.
• Ensure metering activities align with health and safety policies and industry standards.
• Develop and mentor project management and engineering teams to improve delivery.
