Job summary

Reliance High-Tech is seeking an experienced security systems professional to deliver small works projects across the Midlands, the North and beyond. You will apply your expertise in access control, CCTV and intruder alarms to design, install and hand over solutions tailored to client needs.

Working with project coordinators, installation engineers and service staff, you will manage delivery, ensure compliance, and maintain high standards while travelling as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of electronic security disciplines.
• Strong IT skills across operating systems, networks and databases.
• Ability to work with access control, CCTV, intruder and intercom software.

Working in Small Works and alongside the project coordinators and installation engineers to deliver small works projects in the midlands and north. The working area extends from Northampton to the tip of Scotland and across to Northern Ireland. Maintain effective relationships with all parties, including internal and external stakeholders to assist in the profitable delivery of small works jobs. The role may require overnight stays away from home where necessary and extensive travel for site visits and meeting where necessary.

You will be working within a motivated and target driven team who work together to deliver the best security solution based on our client’s requirements to the highest standards possible while focusing on teamwork and profitability.

Responsibilities

• To deliver small works projects for our customers based on the solution that you have proposed based on the customer’s needs and your expertise in the industry.
• Working alongside the small works coordinators and install engineers, you are responsible for the successful and profitable delivery of small works projects ensuring customer satisfaction.
• You will ensure the projects are installed and delivered to the highest standards and the correct compliance level with the most effective and efficient delivery model.
• You will be keen to learn and develop your skills so that small works can offer an end-to-end
  solution to our customers specific requirements.
• A good knowledge of second line engineering support on Access Control, CCTV, Intercom and Intruder Alarms system design will be a distinct advantage.
• A positive attitude and outlook, with a determination to succeed is the corner stone of the small works team and will be an attribute you will need to share and display.
• Maintain effective relationships with all parties, including client stakeholders at all levels,
  consultants, main contractors and sub-contractors, to assist in the profitable running of existing contracts and the servicing of future contracts.

Your Experience

• To meet the challenge, you need to have extensive knowledge of all electronic security
  disciplines alongside strong IT skills.
• The right candidate will demonstrate a vast and detailed understanding of a range of Access
  control, CCTV, Intruder and Intercom as well as a comprehensive range of associated software and contribute with this knowledge and skills to the successful delivery of RHT’s small works projects.
• I.T. skill sets should include confidence and experience in Operating Systems, Networks, and
  Database technologies.
• You will have excellent organisational skills and be a team player, willing to learn and take
  ownership of issues with attention to detail being at the heart of everything you do.
• The ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines is an advantage and the ability to prioritise your workload is very important.
