Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to assess and support children with communication differences across community settings. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, teaching and guiding junior staff, students and assistants.

You will cover diverse locations across Birmingham, including schools, clinics, development centres and homes, with some virtual assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist SLT assessment/intervention to children/young people with diverse needs.
• Manage a varied caseload across community locations, schools, clinics, centres and homes.
• Assess/diagnose and develop personalised therapy programmes; monitor outcomes.
