Professional Personnel Management Ltd in High Wycombe is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our team. Working hours are 9.00am–5.00pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week). A DBS check is required to ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking, kitchen assistance, and maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards. You should be able to follow instructions, work under pressure, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a chef or lead cook
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (training provided if necessary)
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if required

Responsabilités

• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, including basic cooking tasks, assembling sandwiches, salads, and other menu items.
• Cooking: Perform cooking duties as required, ensuring that food is cooked to the correct temperature, taste, and presentation standards.
• Kitchen Assistance: Support the kitchen team by assisting with food prep, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are properly sanitized and stored.
• Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning work surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
