Professional Personnel Management Ltd in High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Chef to join the team. The role involves cooking, food preparation, and kitchen support to ensure meals meet high standards.

The candidate must have a valid DBS, and the position operates with hours from 11.30am to 7.30pm, Monday to Friday. Training and development opportunities are available within a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a chef or a lead cook.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (training provided if necessary).
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, including basic cooking tasks, assembling sandwiches, salads and other items per recipes and standards.
• Cooking: Perform cooking duties, ensuring correct temperature, taste and presentation.
• Kitchen Assistance: Support kitchen team with food prep, cleanliness, and sanitation of utensils and equipment.
• Cleanliness: Maintain kitchen and service area cleanliness and dispose of waste properly.
• Compliance: Adhere to health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
