Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Works Foreman to lead on-site construction activities for the AMP8 framework with Yorkshire Water. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and management to deliver works to specification, quality, and programme requirements.

You will oversee health and safety leadership, manage resources, and maintain strong client relationships while driving safe, efficient delivery of projects. This role focuses on ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires HNC in construction-related subject or Level 6 NVQ Construction Site Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of site construction activities and staff/subcontractor management.
• CSCS card and valid SMSTS certification are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee site works to deliver safely, on time and within budget.
• Provide health and safety leadership to delivery teams and ensure compliance.
• Manage General Foreman, Foreman, Site Supervisors and on-site resources.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to protect the company.
• Control short- and medium-term programmes and ensure timely ordering of plant and equipment.
• Collaborate with clients to develop innovative solutions and maintain project quality.
